I plugged it in and it booted.

The good news is that the BIOS says it has 192 MB RAM and a 400 MHz
CPU. Also, it booted to XP Professional, so the original owner must
have upgraded the RAM and then the OS, since I know it shipped with
Windows 98.

The bad news is that I could not find out the size of the hard disk
because I could not get either a keyboard or a mouse to work. I tried a
couple USB mice and a couple PS2 mice and, while the BIOS said it
recognized the PS2 mice, neither would work. Also, neither of the USB
mice would work, although they lit up. I also tried two different old
keyboards and a brand new USB keyboard, and neither would work. I
couldn't do anything else without at least a mouse or a keyboard.

Also, the CD drive seems to be stuck. The light comes on during boot.
And if I press the eject button the light comes on and I hear whirring
noises, but the tray does not come out. The people had small children,
so it probably has the remains of a popsicle inside. I have some
leftover CD drives, so maybe I will replace it if I can figure out what
is wrong with the input devices. It might make a decent Linux computer
if I can repair it.
