I don't run Ubuntu for this and many other reasons. Is LTS and/or Ubuntu Server (same thing?), a better option for people running critical apps who don't want to get burned by auto updates? Also, I'm sure Kirk's comment about Linux was purely out of frustration. But here's a good article on Linux's success and growth. https://www.linux.com/news/featured-blogs/158-jim-zemlin/554920-as-data-grows-so-grows-linux?goback=%2Egde_48682_member_101481441 Linux, if it's good enough to run the Mars Rover, it's good enough for me. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
