Humbly beseeching PLUG's many hardware gurus: My spouse's LCD monitor has an intermittent problem that manifests itself as a bright pink vertical line, one pixel wide, right down the center of the screen.
The obvious questions are: what is the probable cause? What are the reasonable solutions? The problem is becoming more frequent, and as such it seems like time to do something about it.
