I've taken on a client (as per my previous message about Mac OS X Servers) and part of the job is trying to recover some data on a drive that was connected to a MB when it blew. Story has it all the caps on the board went.
I've tested the drive and get the same clicking the previous tech mentioned when the OS tries to access it. I used an IDE to USB adapter and tried the old freeze the drive trick. Powers up just fine but no joy beyond that. So I went Googling for a data recovery service and so far am looking at Gillware Data Recovery. I like the look because they only charge if they recover the data. Anyone have experience with this company? Any other recommendations? \\||/ Rod -- _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
