My ongoing FOSS project is a networked wordgame for smartphones (see
.sig.) It desperately needs an integrated help system, a collection
of "more info" icons each of which launches the browser and points it
at a particular page or tag on a website. The site itself should be
easy to navigate, once you're there, to find related topics etc.

It seems I shouldn't have to write the site, or its framework, from
scratch. Is anyone aware of an open-source project creating such a
thing? Ideally in Python -- or at least something other than PHP,
which I'm coming to loathe as I spend more paid time with it. :-)

I'm thinking of something a bit less complicated than a wiki system,
but perhaps some of those can be configured to present simpler UIs.

Thoughts, or recommendations?

Thanks,

--Eric
