I would recommend bringing a USB drive with a live image of Ubuntu on it
and test it out on the display models in the store. I have done this on
several occasions and so long as you ask permission first, I have never had
anyone complain. In fact, I have found a number of employees that have used
linux and were either helpful or at least interested in what I was doing.
