Was curious about this as I've never tried to print onto an envelope with
my HPLJ 2100TN. Just tried it and it worked fine using the following:
- OpenOffice.org Writer
- Format>Page...>Page
"Page Style" = "#10 Envelope"
"Orientation" = "Landscape"
- File>Print...>Printer Properties...>Paper
"Paper Size" = "Envelope #10"
"Orientation" = "Portrait"
Other than reducing the margins a bit for esthetics it just worked. I
used the side-feed with the envelope centered, facing up, with its top
to the left.
Here's my CUPS driver info:
