Yes, it can be done. Most likely running "sudo update-grub" will allow it
to autoconfigure the grub settings to give you the options of which OS to
boot.

You could also check out
http://www.noobslab.com/2012/01/grub2-customizereditor-for-gnome-and.html if
you need a GUI.
