My production machine is back to the way it was before last week. When I powered up after installing the nVidia card the machine came up in lo-graphics mode, as expected. Using Synaptic I installed nvidia-current, which brought along nvidia-settings. After rebooting and running the nVidia X Server Settings tool, both monitors are back to their normal conditions. Now. I still have to come up with a solution for when support for 10.04 goes away in April. So far it looks like 12.04 won't support a couple of programs I use every day. Not sure if another distribution will, but I guess I'll start looking. -- Regards, Dick Steffens _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
