you may try to boot with a live cd/usb (ubunutu installation meda may work too)

after booting in the console try "sudo blkid" command and compare with your 
disks ids.

If they are different you may try to change grub config manually. If they are 
the same (it is probably a kernel module issue). Then you sould obey the clinic 
advice...
