I have one of those on a shelf somewhere. I got it last December, but haven't figured out a way to use it in Linux, and haven't gotten around to using it with XP. When you use your ION USB turntable, do you use the USB connection with Linux? I haven't found a way to use the USB part except with XP. (I've had it for several years) The version of audacity that came with it includes a Windows driver for the USB side. I have used the turntable with Linux by connecting its standard audio cables to the audio in part of my sound card. I'd rather use the USB connection because it seems to handle record level setting on the USB side better then I get with my own record level settings on the sound card. -- Regards, Dick Steffens _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
