Ambitious and a good summary. But he didn't cover KDE, Gnome, Xfce, and LXDE because those are Desktop Environments (DE) which you pretty much need to live with for a few weeks before you can pass judgment.
Also, the WM is only 1/2 of the story. You still need a bunch of utilities to essentially make a DE. Here's the Linux fun part: you can take any DE and swap out its default WM for one of these.
