Galois is a software-engineering firm located in Portland, OR
specializing in the hard problems of computing trust and assurance.
We are creating a new on-site, part-time (20-30 hrs/wk) IT position
to reflect our growth and position ourselves for future success.
Challenges include supporting a variety of desktop environments (OS
X, Linux, Windows), maintaining a full-featured corporate network
(largely Linux), and working with engineering and operations to
ensure everyone has the IT assets we need.
Competency reflecting 5 years of work experience in Linux command-line
work, server and desktop operating systems, IP networking, network
infrastructure software, x86 hardware, and general business software
is required.
