Russell: It's not that I think my experience isn't valuable, it's just difficult to list on a resume... Given an interview, I would be able to prove pretty quickly that my personal experience DOES count, but I suspect having someone who can vouch for me would be advantageous.
Wes: The exam prices are standardized by Red Hat: $400 an exam, and there is one exam each for RHCSA and RHCE; RHCE depends on RHCSA, so you do end up having to take both; $800 for the set. Each exam is 2.5 hours. I was told they can THEORETICALLY do both in one day, and that the proctor is on site on the 28th of February, but that only RHCSA is currently scheduled. It was implied (But not outright said) that if I got the 6 person minimum, they would be able to schedule the RHCE exam to immediately follow the RHCSA exam; That said, given a choice, I would probably put a week or two gap between them, just as to not burn myself out in one day. John: I'll plan on attending the next Clinic; Even if I'm not actually needed, it will still be nice to put faces to the names I see in these emails ;) -- Tyrell On Fri, Jan 24, 2014 at 3:43 PM, John Jason Jordan <[email protected]>wrote: > On Fri, 24 Jan 2014 14:47:09 -0800 > Tyrell Jentink <[email protected]> dijo: > > >I would also love to volunteer at the Linux Clinics if volunteers are > >needed. > > You would be most welcome! > _______________________________________________ > PLUG mailing list > [email protected] > http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug > _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
