On thinking further, perhaps some additional explanation is in order. It might also be interesting to have a popularity score, although I don't know how you could quantify that beyond just your personal opinion. Several times I have spoken with people who had an idea for a talk, yet they were unsure if their topic would be appropriate for the PLUG audiences. There are a number of impediments to getting someone to speak at a PLUG meeting. Fear of public speaking might be one of them, but being unsure that their topic would be of interest is another.
