If you are, it's probably because it has the default ip of 192.168.1.1 and not the ip addr assigned by the d-link via a dhcp mac addr reservation. If that is the case, you'll need to connect to the linksys directly via an ethernet cable or wifi and either have the linksys assign your laptop on the 192.168.1.0 subnet or you'll have to set a static ip addr on your laptop such as 192.168.1.2 or something.
