I am using kdenlive to edit visual and audio files to create an digital.m2t media file. I then use devede to create a DVD ISO-9660 image which is burned to a CD-R file.
This CD sized dvd works okay in most PCs (linux or Microsoft) but Windows 7 complains that the dvd is not compatible for the region (region 1) but upon installing VLC on Windows 7 OS, the dvd reads just fine. However trying the dvd on 2 different home dvd players, one fairly recent and the other a Blue-Ray, leads to nothing but failure. The dvds spin for awhile trying to read the disc, then complain that the disk is incompatible and spits out the disc. Any ideas what might be wrong? Are the Digital Media Rights the issue? Thanks for your input. Right now I am mystified as to why the dvd players reject the dvd and don't know where to begin, to resolve the issue. _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
