I found this: http://www.amazon.com/ConnectPRO-Ghost-Emulator-Professional-VGA-EDID-KITU1/dp/B0032ETRAK/ I can spend ~$300 to upgrade my KVM, or $50 for a one-system fix. Since everything else is working OK for now, I opted for the latter.
