Paul, The problem I've seen with PC hardware over the past 30 years is that we're often denied the choice. Things we like and provide high productivity are dropped in favor of the newest next big thing to force change and increase hardware sales. Storage media are just one example. It's great when each of us has the choice of preferred hardware, but we don't always have that choice.
