For years I've spoken with my accountant of the advantages of running linux on her office computers for client security. The accounting/tax preparation software she must use run only on windoze so this caused her to put off the change.
Today in our meeting she brought up her concerns about the computers left in her office (a small building she owns in downtown Gresham) when no one's there. I suggested that her current OS and application suite be moved to a VM running on some flavor of linux. She's ready to do this, and this summer (the next 6 weeks) is a slow time for CPAs so this is when it should be done.
