Hello all, Thank you Beth for the great talk and to everyone gave us a very solid turn-out.
My observation for all of us: we cannot let software patents, SOPA, DMCA or any other body of controversial law to become as surprising, if not inconsistent and thus terrifying as that coming out of the BATFE. "Horse sense" or at times common sense do not apply. Trusting that everyone came away with something to think about, what were the best talks you have ever seen? For me it's the counter-intuitive ones with the most boring titles that turn out to be several layers deeper than I could ever imagine. i.e. http://www.openbsd.org/papers/opencon07-gnome.pdf Michael Dexter PLUG Volunteer _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
