My level of sophistication isn't high enough to know if fooling with DNS
is something that can be done with the service I use, but a number of
years ago I decided to switch from Arizona outfit I was using, the one
with the lady race card driver spokeswoman. The research I did
recommended using different services for domain registration and
hosting. I ended up with Namecheap and StableHost. One of the folks
making the recommendation pointed out that Namecheap was good at domain
registration but left something to be desired when it came to hosting,
whereas StableHost was good at hosting, but left something to be desired
in the registration department. I don't do a lot with what I have, but
I've been happy with the combination solution.
