Bill, The issue is probably that when Mailman was made avaiable it was configured for appl-ecosys.com and needs to be reconfigured for lists.appl-ecosys.com. The admin there is the official owner. Initially a single maillist could be created; the admin had to increase the limit. So, when vacation time's over the maillist addresses should start to work.
