You have to have a "duration" field. I end up having a Time In and a Time Out, which are of the type Time. I then take the difference, and set that field to Duration. Then I can multiply that duration by the rate (I THINK duration is in seconds, so I ended up having to divide it by 3600? You will want to verify that).
