I may have made that up. It isn't called that anywhere that I can see. 
It could be I'm remembering it from longer ago, or I'm mixing it up with 
the concept of a primary account at Comcast.

In Account Settings I have each account listed, starting with this 
address in bold, and the rest not in bold. In the Copies & Folders 
section for each account there is a check box labeled "Place a copy in:" 
followed by two radio buttons. The first says "'Sent' Folder on:" 
followed a drop down box. The default setting is "Local Folders." The 
other options are each of the other accounts. Not included in the list 
is this account. The second radio button allows more flexibility, but 
still does not list this account.

The same. 31.2.0. I let Ubuntu update it when it says it wants to, so I 
assume it's the "current" version in the Ubuntu 12.04 distribution.

Another possibility is something carrying over as I moved the profile 
around from machine to machine. I've probably got the same profile I had 
many years ago, just with more stuff added over time.
