The thing we ran into at the end was getting GRUB installed. While I don't fully understand what Keith found, I think it had something to do with not reserving a certain place during partitioning for GRUB to go. We thought that creating a boot partition was good enough. Apparently not. Do you have any advice on that early stage of preparing for the install? I think I've learned enough to do it over again and not miss the other steps Keith showed me this afternoon. My day-to-day schedule's been hectic enough that I may or may not get very far with this before the next clinic. If I don't, and if you'll be there in January, I can bring the gear in again for another try. -- Regards, Dick Steffens _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
