   No. But, I have a brand-new, unused Seagate 1.0T/USB 3.0 drive. The
intended use never materialized so it's sitting here.

   Don't know about external/USB drives from Western Digital, but I've found
their internal SATA drives to be outstanding. Had only 1 fail during
warranty and they immediately replaced it. Since I needed a replacement
sooner, I bought and installed a new 500G drive so the replacement is
sitting her in the shipping container.

   ENU on SE 122nd Ave. has always done well by me for components. Take a
look at their web site <http://www.enuinc.com/> and see what they have. If
there's a brand/model that is less reliable the folks there will tell you.
If they recommend one, go with it.
