Hello everyone! Kind of new to Linux and am trying to install the USB network adapter onto a Kali x32 VM using Virtual Box. Have been researching this but have not been successful in my attempts to get this working. These are the two approaches I have tried.
Installed the Windows 7 driver successfully onto Windows 7 and usb card works. Then tried to use ndiswrapper to make it Linux compatible which didn’t seem to work. Read some forums that indicated I needed to use the carl9170 driver as that is what took the place of ar9170 driver but can’t seem to find it anywhere. I can see the device listed when doing lsusb command but am not able to get the drivers installed. Any suggestions would be great if anyone has any ideas. Thank you!
