Louis, I have RSA authentification enabled. It wants my passphrase when I log in. If there's a way to use the RSA public/private key without a passphrase I'm not aware of how to do this. In the server's /etc/ssh/sshd_config are these lines: # Authentication: LoginGraceTime 1m PermitRootLogin no RSAAuthentication yes PubkeyAuthentication yes BTW, from mid-yesterday morning until late last evening my network was not reachable via ssh or traceroute. Then whatever caused the problem went away. Rich _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
