   I have RSA authentification enabled. It wants my passphrase when I log in.
If there's a way to use the RSA public/private key without a passphrase I'm
not aware of how to do this.

   In the server's /etc/ssh/sshd_config are these lines:

# Authentication:

LoginGraceTime 1m
PermitRootLogin no

RSAAuthentication yes
PubkeyAuthentication yes

   BTW, from mid-yesterday morning until late last evening my network was not
reachable via ssh or traceroute. Then whatever caused the problem went away.
