My MB has PCI Express-16 (likely 1.0 since the version is not specified). The card should still work according to the design specs of PCI Express, but I wonder what version of PCI is on your MB. Also, I see two different heat sink styles on the 5450: one is flat and black, the other is red and quite high. I wonder if the red one would fit in my case. The 5430 is highly rated for Linux, but it does not exist in the market.
