I posted something about this a while ago. Since then, I have been having exchanges with folks on dirvish.org. The issue seems to boil down to how to enter a directory name containing a space in the tree: directive. The latest version is tree: '/home/household/VirtualBox\ VMs/'
This produces an error: rsync: change_dir "/home/household//'/home/household/VirtualBox VMs/'" failed: No such file or directory (2) The summary ACTION statement may have clues to what is happening: ACTION: rsync -vrltH --delete --stats -D --numeric-ids -pgo '/home/household/VirtualBox VMs/'/ /mnt/backup/dirvish-bank/R2D5-VboxVMs/2015-09-08-Tue-08:13:57/tree Anybody here have ideas of what caused the strange interpretation of the tree: entry? Since dirvish is a pearl program, maybe some pearl experts here can offer some ideas.
