That website has ad boxes down the side.  Multiple video ads can
choke Firefox on a lower-performance machine.  They do on my older
laptop (single core, 1.5 GB of RAM).  Control-alt-backspace, 
though firefox "helpfully" restores all the sites I had queued
up when I killed X.  I should learn more about adblock - perhaps
so should you.

It is helpful to kill -9 and restart Firefox from time to time.
That frees up RAM, and helps me pretend I'm still in control.
