For the first time ever my server/workstation failed to automatically
advance the time one hour, switching from PDT to PST. In fact, it went the
other way by one hour. My Web search strings did not find a possible
explanation.

The daemon, ntpd, is running and the server pool in /etc/ntp.conf has not
changed.

What might have caused this changed in the wrong direction? Where should I
look to ensure everything time related is correctly working?

TIA,

Rich
