On another forum discussing a logically unrelated issue using 
grml was suggested.
I browsed http://grml.org/ and particularly 
http://grml.org/cheatcodes .
The selection of cheatcodes hints someone else has already with 
similar set of questions.
I have much reading to do. That grml appears to be a solution 
perhaps gives a better description of the problems I foresee than 
my posts.
