I mount SMB shares (from all walks of OS life) in my userspace without any elevated privileges all the time. When I need them to persist, I write a cronjob to monitor their status and restore them as needed.
If I had a truly enterprise class problem to solve, I would go to the extra effort of getting NFS to work. Then, it usually remains working for the remainder of the life of the universe. -wes _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
