Jim,

   I have a couple of Mailman lists set up, but the groups who would benefit
from them find them too difficult to join and use, despite step-by-step
instructions. So they sit at my ISP, unused.

   I suspect that the same relay restrictions apply if I used Mailman rather
than a mailx script here. So that would leave me in the same situation.

   By sending the message in chunks I avoid the per hour limit and it would
be easier for me to manage the address list as a local text file.
