Denis, CUPS does not know if it's serving a single user on a single host or multiple users on multiple hosts. The scheduler places incoming jobe in the print queue and sends them off to the appropriate printer when it's ready to accept them. When you first posted your problem none of us thought to ask you to check that 1) cupsd (the exeucutable daemon) was installed and b) if it had been invoked. Why your distribution suggests a conflict with itself is puzzling; perhaps there are subtle differences in the specifics that were overlooked when reading. Regardless, as long as it works, just shrug and move on. Glad you solved the problem, Rich _______________________________________________ PLUG mailing list [email protected] http://lists.pdxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
