Done that (googled the thing many times). I was hoping for hands on experience and opinion from someone who has replaced Crome with Linux and is experienced Linux user to notice the lack of Fxx keys. So far I've seen only ChromeBooks running linux from an SD card by various people I know in some dual boot way; Or blogs about that it can be done - not really elaborating about the practicality of doing it.
