I have a couple of java applications that I use, and running the .jar file brings up the application. Yesterday I downloaded schemaSpy_5.0.0.jar, read the available docs and tried to use it to generate an ER diagram based on an existing postgresql database. It produces nothing but a set of usage instructions; I'm correctly using the mandatory options and have no idea why it's failing or how to test to find why.
The application is hosted on sourceforge.net; the mail list looks like it has one post per year and I cannot find an e-mail address for the author. This version of schemaSpy does work for others; it would be nice to get it working here, too. If you've had experience with java .jar files perhaps you can offer suggestions on how I could proceed.
