Almost all adapters made in the past 5 years or so will support Auto-MDIX (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medium-dependent_interface) GB Ethernet does not need Auto-MDIX except when communicating with a 10MB or 100MB adapter.
Take a standard Ethernet cable and plug the two systems together.
