I regularly use okular and evince for presenting from PDF. To go to
full screen (presentation) mode use:
  okular - Ctrl+Shift+P
  evince - F11
There is no window frame or side window in the presentation mode
visible, unless you open it in evince or leave mouse cursor on the top
screen edge ... You can always close it clicking that red button with X
over it.
