Dick,

   Right after they don't add a superficial. unneeded feature just because
they figured out how to do it.

   Yeah, I've had to search for the dictionary on rare occasions and that
looks vaguely familiar.

   My writing with LaTeX/LyX, emacs, and joe uses the ispell (international
spelling dictionary) and when I insert (or add) a new word and it's done
checking the document I'm asked if I want to save the added/inserted words
in the dictionary. This linux-y approach is more user-oriented than the M$
approach of LO.
