Fwiw, it was intended as a transitional step. The mailing list actually lives on a host lists.pdxlinux.org, so as we were changing DNS, it was easiest to make sure that the mailing list was functioning with the native hostname first. The second step was to add an alias from plug*@pdxlinux.org to lists.pdxlinux.org. So, as things settle down, we can switch back.
Just for extra fun, we had a DNS outage for a couple hours this evening as our zone transfers were not working. The zone transfers appear to be working again, so yay for that. -- Russell Senior [email protected] On Tue, Feb 21, 2023 at 8:52 PM Ben Koenig <[email protected]> wrote: > ------- Original Message ------- > On Tuesday, February 21st, 2023 at 6:14 PM, Rich Shepard < > [email protected]> wrote: > > > > On Wed, 22 Feb 2023, Ben Koenig wrote: > > > > > I'm gonna have to update my filters then since lists.pdxlinux.org > emails > > > don't go into their designated folder... > > > > > > Ben, > > > > I revised ~/.procmailrc to: List-ID:.*<plug\.lists\.pdxlinux\.org> based > on > > > > your message.
