Alternate plan B: I have a 19 inch LCD monitor (Planar PL1910M) with a failed fluorescent backlight. plazmo.com sells LED replacements, and does customs. Their strips are "buy longer and cut to size". I can imagine installing two Very Bright LED strips (top and bottom) in that LCD monitor, with heat sinks and a separate LED power supply. If This Works, is anyone else interested in kludging their own superbright LCD/LED monitor? Keith L. -- Keith Lofstrom [email protected]
