Hi PLUG Community,
I mentioned this event a few weeks ago. It is sponsored (iirc) by the
City of Portland, Smart Cities program.
Is there any interest in the PLUG community to staff a table at the
event, to help introduce people to FOSS on their computers? I am meeting
with a rep for the event on Monday and I'm wondering how much
enthusiasm/energy there might be, and whether I should indicate PLUG
interest. We could have probably counted on John Jason Jordon (or
whatever his name actually was), had he sadly not left us earlier this
year. I will probably not be able to help much, because Personal Telco
is likely to have its own table and/or workshop. Does anyone want to
help pull something together?
