Xfinity is pushing me to abandon my current cable modem/wifi router
combination and adopt one of the following:

CBR750 or CAX30 or CAX80 or CM1100 or CM2000 or CM2050V

The last time I upgraded to a Netgear C6300 v2, I lost control over the
IPV6 provisioning, and some critical DNS parameters in the setup. This
basically meant my internet provider overruled any VPN I was trying to
use and had full access to all the internet connections live.
Has anyone found a cable modem (up to 1.2 gigs/sec) and wifi combination
which gives the user full control so VPN will work? In my case the DNS
queries were intercepted then substituted. I can understand my internet
provider wanting to know all secrets.. but I really want to do VPN.
