I *know* I should know BUT ;/ I'm running Debian with MATE desktop. I want to retrieve a pure plain vanilla ASCII file from a remote system. By plain vanilla I mean Pluma could have created it. I have the complete URL.
If at command prompt of MATE Terminal, what do I do? Ever have "one of THOSE daze" ;/ TIA
