No response from the HPLIP folks. So I tried printing from my laptop (Xubuntu 20.04) and have the same problem with the text printed too far to the right.

I decided I'd try reinstalling HPLIP from Synaptic. I got the following error message:

E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.
E: Unable to correct dependencies

After running a few sudo apt commands (which I didn't write down, assuming they'd still be available) I was able to successfully run the install from Sysnaptic. It ran, but none of the hplip programs appear when I type hplip in the settings manager. I can run hpl and get HP Device Manager, but I still get a page with the left edge printed in an extra inch or so.

Do I need to upgrade from 20.04, or 22.04 to be able to run power management with multiple tabs? (Not sure why this would apply to my printer issue).
