Hi. I've been testing AGP video cards with our new Duron 600 PC.
I'm looking for a card that works well on both Windows and Linux.
I tried Trident ELSA and it failed on Windows BAPco. I tried
S3 Trio3D/2X but the Linux mouse pointer is a plain white square
(on RH 6.2 XF3.3.6). Our supplier says there's no more Rage ProIIc,
no more S3 Virge.
I'm about to test a more expensive S3 Savage4, and a cheaper
PCI Trident 9570. I couldn't find an updated copy of Mig's
Hardware-To-Buy-Advice.
What AGP/PCI video card do you guys use that's still available
and affordable?
