Greetings!

Hmm...i think there's a difference in the way a text file is stored on
DOs/windows
than on Unix/Linux...one way to check this is to open the text file using an
editor
and check for special characters...that may be the reason why the file is
not being interpreted
properly.

As to a remedy...i think there are some tools that convert text files
to/from unix/win format.

hope this helps.

Subject: [plug] Address book on Netscape using Linux
Importance: High

Good afternoon, Im using Netscape as my mail editor under a Linux box,
my problem is I cant import my addressbook which was created on Excel
with an extension name of .csv. Netscape is allowing me to import the
file from my directory but there is no data that is actually being
imported.
What seems to be the problem? Does anyone knows how to convert this file
(i.e addressbook.csv) so that it will be acceptable in Linux?
